Muay Thai or Thai Boxing is a martial art thousands of years old. Different from Western boxing it includes kicks and punches performed with elbows, knees and feet as well.
Thai Boxing has many different techniques, some not intended to hurt the opponent immediately, but to keep him away or put him off balance before striking out with the next attack.

Once a week, normally on Saturdays, there are competitions in Hua Hin. These are real fights, most often with competitors coming from other provinces and they are a "must go" for the local male population.
Fight Nights starts always at 21:00 and the entrance fee is 600 Baht.
