Airport Transfers to/from Hua-Hin and Cha AmThere are many different ways to reach Cha-am and Hua Hin. You could fly from Bangkok to Hua Hin Airport and then transfer by private minibus/limousine. You could also catch the train from Bangkok to the South and get off at Cha Am or Hua-Hin Station. Public air-conditioned busses are leaving from Bangkok's Southern Terminal every 40 minutes and need less than 3 hours for the 200 kilometres distance. Arriving from the South of Thailand is more difficult. Coming from Hatyai or Surat Thani, you have the choice between bus and train, when arriving from Phuket or Krabi, the public busses are the only option. All busses from the South are passing Hua Hin, but make sure they are passing through the town centre to drop you off. Travelling in Thailand is safe, fun and easy and getting here will be part of your vaction and not a chore. When you arrive at Bangkok Airport and have ordered private transportation in advance, you have to walk through the customs into the arrival hall, where you will see the guides and representatives of the hotels waiting with their signs. Please look out for a sign, that is showing your names. Should you arrive directly from abroad, it is a good chance to change money in the arrival hall, where several bank offices operate counters. Kindly contact the guide or driver that is waiting to pick you up and inform him/her, that you need some more time to change money. Otherwise he/she will start to look around for you and you might miss him/her. © 2005-2011 Hua Hin Infonet. All
